Does air in radiator increase warm up time?

I'm hearing splashing in my dashboard like heater core is clogged but it is not. Just wondering if I can burp the air out, will it heat up faster in the morning?

Probably means the cooling system is very low.

You might wanna get that figured out before you low your head gasket or something. Air in it, or running low on coolant...neither is a good thing.

Checked fluid level.

It was below the low mark. I topped it off and will see how it does tomorrow. Hoping it was just air trapped in it.

Don't check just the overflow tank (the plastic container), but also check the radiator level. It should be to the very top. Check it cold so you don't burn yourself, and the water level is at its lowest.

Did you just replace the heater hoses? The heater will make this noise if the hoses are reversed.

There are other reasons to hear water sloshing around near the dash, trapped rainwater in the climate control system being a possibility.

If anything, air in the cooling system DECREASES warm up time. I got air in my cooling system back when I put a short ram intake on my 4 cylinder accord and it would be up to temperature about a mile earlier than normal. Then it kept climbing...
