Earth Day Mini Alt Car Show
Hey everyone!
I am involved in a local ecology and sustainability group called Greener Oconomowoc. (Oconomowoc, Wisconsin - yes, we have strange town names around here...)
We are holding an Earth Day Event on April 26th, 2008.
Since I have an interest in electric vehicles and get more bang for the buck out of gasoline, I have been the one put in charge of transportation related items for the event.
So far, I have lined up:
Green Auto - a ZENN dealer to bring out and show off a car
Milwaukee EV - a Zap dealer to bring out a Zebra and maybe another model as well.
Milwaukee Hybrid Group - The largest Hybrid group in the country
A local restaurant owner (Culver's - burger and ice cream chain) who has a veggie-diesel converted truck that runs on french fry grease.
I also left a message for the Milwaukee Smart Car dealer, but haven't heard back yet, and am still waiting for a call back from our closest Electric Vehicle Association guy.
Although I will be out of town the weekend of the event, I plan on having some photos and other information on my electric motorcycle and Geo Metro conversion.
With that information, I would also like to promote Ecomodder.com and any other good web forums and resources.
If I could, I would like to get high-res versions of Ecomodder logos that I could get printed fairly large. Maybe not banners, but at least 8x10, something that would be noticed on a large collage board.
Ecomodder is where I have been mostly hanging out lately, along with the DIY Electric Car Forum. I know CleanMPG is a very popular site as well.
Can anyone vouch for other web pages or resources that our group should be trying to promote to the general public?
