Eco-RV thoughts?

Another Toyota RV owner here. My first was a 21 ft Sunrader, second was a V-6 Odyssey. I just got back in the game with another Sunrader. This one an 87 with 37K on the clock. Almost broken in. I plan on doing some aero mods. Maybe get rid of roof air, or possible make a fairing that will cover it along with roof vents. Delete roof rack, front airdam, maybe belly pan. I also have an idea for a rear bumper storage locker/boat tail. It would clean things up back there as well as give me dry secure bike storage. Ideally, I would love to do a 5 speed swap. I think the 5 speed swap has the biggest potential gain, but not likely to happen for awhile.

Can a scanguage/mpguino talk to a 22RE?

Nice, I now have a 1990 v6 dolphin and a 1983 sunrader 4spd.

Since yours is fuel injected, I'm fairly certain you could connect some sort of custom mpg gauge, but a scan gauge definitely won't plug in too easily.
