Turbalt - '09 Cobalt SS/TC
90 day: 37.98 mpg (US)

Bayou Blaze - '97 Blazer 4DR LT
90 day: 31.87 mpg (US)

Well mazda admittedly doesn't use the ideal turbocharger for the application.


Biggest improvements involved tire pressures/compound/brand changes.

Using coroplast helped in the rear.

Took out the spare, after all i've got gm roadside assistance for four years...

But most of all, watching the vacuum/boost combo gauge the cobalt comes with and trying to keep it around 10 inches of vacuum as much as I can.
