Germans? From which side? The ones who drank beer or the ones who drank vodka? Anyway, since the Kombi was finally phased out in Brazil, foreign collectors are buying the older ones in truckloads to export to their countries.

Station wagon that was the word I was looking for, but as Fingie no doubt speaks fluent Swedish I took the Swedish name.

Lousy, I shouldn't complain as it is better for mpg, but I want a real cold winter with snow, ohhh and a clear blue sky.

We had some good snow fall then it rained, the roads were awful (wet ice) had to use snow chains a few times as I live in the forest.

Sometimes I regret buying friction tyres instead of studded, then I remember the price difference, and that I have never had a problem and have only needed to use chains less than a handful of times over the past few years.

Americans and Japanese usually know them as station-wagon or just "wagon", but susually they also refer this way to passenger vans which makes it quite confusing sometimes.

Finland we use the word "Farmari" that roughly translates into estate.

At least I need a new exhaust for inspection, too. I should also buy new springs
