Got the new eco-headlight bulbs in today, along with my brother generously cleaning and polishing my headlights and replaced every vacuum line associated with the canister purge valve. I redid the coroplast that went over the foglight holes so that they would lay down flatter.

It has finally happened... my long awaited 50+ mpg trip!

I say that this is first because it is longer than the 3 or 4 miles from McDonald's to my house. This was a ~14 mile trip from the bank to home. It included many a frustrated tailgaters

Filled up this morning with a new tank average high of 45.34. The warmer temperatures are really helping my numbers out!

I moved up to #11 & #58 in % over EPA and highest tank average, respectively

Filled up earlier, did 361.22 miles on 7.789 gallons for 46.38 mpg!

Moved up to #11 & #56 in the 90 day stats. I'm just 1.7% out of moving into the Top 10 of % over EPA

Got some work done today!

Replaced the PCV Valve. It looks like the old one had 268,000 miles on it... thanks PO.

Cleaned the MAF sensor and twisted the IAT sensor around so the pick up was in direct airflow

Put Gorilla tape over most of the engine bay exhaust place to increase IAT's.

Took the front air dam off. I have to say that it looks naked now LOL

And here is the where I went full eco... front and rear belly pans!

The front is attached with a screw in the front bumper with Gorilla tape covering the front seam, and is zip-tied in various places. The rear pan is much the same, san screws. I found a use for the drain holes where the spare tire went

Lastly, I put a windshield wiper cover on. It is very quick rigged, if you can't tell

I also put duct tape over the front seams of the engine bay to keep warm air in. Better aero by 0.1%

Fingers are crossed for a 50 mpg tank soon!
