Efficiency pie chart

I thought there was a pie chart on here that showed contributing factors that make up Fuel Economy?

Example:

Aero mods make up 50%
Engine mods make up 20%
Drive Train make up 20%
Weight reduction make up5%
Fuel type make up 2%
Driving skills make up2%
Etc make up1%

There is some I'm forgetting but you guys get the point.

It was nice to see this because it showed you where you get the most bang for your $$$.

Driving skills would be much more than 2%

I don't recall seeing a graph on it, since I think any graph would be mostly conjecture and not very useful. If you want I can scan a graph of where fuel actually goes in an automobile, but that's a different sort of concept.

There are too many variables to make such a one-size-fits-all graph.

For instance, if a person did mostly city driving weight, regenerative braking, and driving habits would rule, but aerodynamics and engine mods would be nearly worthless. For a guy who runs the superslab in flat country, aero and proper gearing would rule, but weight wouldn't mean a lot. Driving is always applicable.

All my % were just a example.lol

I here what your saying it just is interesting to see as a quick reference.

I as a noob was blown away on how much aero affect's FE as a whole, and plus how driving affects FE as whole.

These breakdowns are a bit confusing. More helpful would be a post engine breakdown from 100% This chart would make the average layman think that aero and RR are no big deal. What does standby mean? Idling? Huge savings to be had there, no?

Same thing here but with highway and city.

Post drivetrain according to this from US govt:
City: braking 46% RR 30% Aero 23%
Highway: braking 10% RR 35% aero 55%

Someone care to re-do the numbers from the crankshaft back?
