Electric Bill - 229 KWh

Just got my electric bill in the mail.

My wife and I in our comfortably small story and a half modified Cape-Cod used 229 KWh this month

Usage fee was $19.88. Of course all the other fees, including $3 for renewable energy, brought the total up to $31.37.

Still not bad for not using any "off the grid" technologies!

That's impressive. I tried to help my parents cut down on power usage at their house last summer. The power company was giving rebates to any household that could cut power use by 10% or more.

They were averaging almost 3x that in a bungalow!
