..the ebay sale ended dec 18, but the link is still good. Looks like forklift parts were used in the making of that EVscort.

This looks interesting. The distance on an EV is what I pay attention to. getting 25 miles range is not appealing.
This Yaris conversion is said to get 120 miles range. The downside is that as much or more was spent on the conversion as was probably paid for the vehicle.

To the owner's credit he built the car with lead-acid batteries.

Li-Ion batteries could have given him a 100 mile range though.

Yet then no one would buy it because it costs to much.
