Another financial jab in Gas 2 today, and a small comment boosting availability date from 2017 to 2018. Alibaba is patiently waiting to sell copies I bet!

Ah well reminds me of the CNT battery company, Ecolocap or Aptera.

I guess at least the CEO still gets paid and that's the whole point.

Too bad so sad

If the Chinese ones end up coming out first doesn't that make Elio the copy?

It's not over until the lawyers are pecking at the carcass. In the end all that is salvageable is a Metro motor clone. The Edison2 at least left it's in-wheel suspension.

So that leaves Arcimoto. I received a year-end email from them that was nothing but a laundry list of Facespook URLs. As if.

At least I could infer from the content that the new polycarbonate windshield is happening and apparently that outfit in Culver City Ca isn't doing the transactual.

What do you get for your $123,000,000 ?
Why, this of course...
Don't waste your time watching all 21 minutes and 46 seconds of the whole thing... the last 12 seconds will suffice.

Thinking about it... The main reason I can think of for why he always wanted to maintain control VS a pool of investors would be that investors could revolt and remove him from control so that something would actually get done. So instead, he maintains control and can just piss the $$$ away willy nilly and stall for time to do more of the same. Later he would say... "well, I tried" And surely there will probably be wails of outrage and demand for fraud charges... Who knows what kind of luck he'd have with that... so far luck seems to be with him.

i've dealt with shysters, crooks, cons, cheats, manipulators, self centered pr!cks like this face to face. as far as i'm concerned, he and all the others can go to he!! or they'll keep tricking and cheating people out of their futures, life's dreams, hopes and money.

They do double damage- not just to investors, workers and the market, but in the future. Now we've got another example of why a small, fuel efficient vehicle using current technology "just won't work." As if it were the car's fault or something.

What is the Dealio?
When I first read the Spielio
It gave a good Feelio
The price was a Stealio
For a nice looking three Wheelio
But it was too good to be Realio
Twas nothing more than a Mealio (ticket)
For Mr. Paul Elio
Paid for in full
by many, many Heelios.

Cheerio!

Don't run out and buy any "Victory" (Defeat?) motorcycles either; they are D.O.A. too.

It seems like EVERY startup from around 2008/2009 was a scam, some just took longer than others to die
