It would be interesting to break it down into FE from best to least. As far as the trucks go that pretty much the same as the statistics as the general populas. Lots of trucks and SUVs in my neck of the woods.

FE was the next thing I was going to do. I'll have a breakdown of most to least mpg.

Very nice. Now you just need to break it down into: bikes, electric, diesel, manual, auto and how much fuel has been saved.
No really good job.

I think the Tacoma's popularity can be explained by Chris D. and the great taco invasion of March '08.

My thoughts exactly. Now I saw that you are using the Ecomodder banner in your sig there, any trouble from the mods?
I wanna do the same as soon as I get some impressive numbers which may be never cuz I drive mostly city.
Maybe Chris D.'s progress is recruiting the Tacoma owners.
EDIT: didnt read the above posts about the Tacomas.

Cool work, larrydag. Thanks.
I knew we had a lot of Tacos, but that's really a lot. Chris D: trendsetter.

wow, What really surprised me the most is the relatively SMALL amount of geo's on the board to the other top makes. there's almost as many Jeeps as there are geo's!!! and almost 3 times more Taco!!!

I think it also shows a tolerance here that everyone is welcome if increased FE is the goal. Seeds of change take time

That is why I'm happy to be here, less judgement based on what I choose to drive.

Actually there is a vehicle that tops the Tacoma on the list: there are 35 examples of the Metro on the list.
It gets obscured because it was sold as the Geo Metro through 1994 and thereafter as the Chevrolet Metro. It's also was rebadged as the Pontiac Firefly and the Suzuki Swift in North America... and those are essentially identical cars mechanically -- there was a 100hp version of the Swift called the GTi/GT which no one here seems to own.
