The End of Suburbia

Been watching this movie for class, thought some here might enjoy it as well.

In the end, I don't like the movie much. It had a good historical look at the rise of suburbia, but all their peak oil doomsday scenarios seem a little ridiculous, and at this point, six years down the road, dated.

I like it.

I'm a James Howard Kunstler fan and have several of his books.

I do believe that we are at the top of the bell curve as far as peak oil is concern. The cost of gasoline will soon be through the roof with India and China becoming a new major user of oil.

I also like how they talk about the "Unicorn Hydrogen" being sold as its going to save the world. But I guess the general public believes it, because most of the politician's have done a great job selling the crap out of it.

Ben what class was this in???
