Engine Off Coasting W/ SGII

I just bought by SGII and have installed in my 96 escort LX 1.9L. After reading the sight for a while I thought it was time. My issue is when I go to EOC as I head up to lights and through a couple of small towns I loose power to my SGII untill I pop the clutch, is there a setting to adjust the sleep? Not sure if it is an issue or if it effects the readings on overall consumption. the other issue is being an escort my speedo is shot and thet is what I use for a speedo Any help?

Yes, under gas or fuel type, there's a hybrid choice. Set it there, and it won't sleep on EOCs.

No official ABA so I will put out a bit of a disclaimer and I have still mastered everything but I see a pretty solid 4mpg gain when pay attention to load and my mpg. Got 47 mpg on a trip home! 4 mpg vs 35 I usually get is 11% Yea!

It will keep the SG going while you shut off the engine to coast.

I can't tell you anything about the values it reads in hybrid mode, while connected to a diesel though. I don't know wether they'll be as accurate as in the dedicated diesel modes.

Only one way to find out !
