Wow. I complain about paying $715 per year for two vehicles - my 06 Canyon and my wife's 10 Focus. Full coverage on both.

Winter 2011-2012 was warm, so average mileage only dropped to 30.1 MPG. Summer 2014 was not as warm as previous summers, but the addition of the vacuum gauge helped increase summer mileage to 38.2 MPG.

so to sum it up, you're not going to save money by adding another vehicle...Keep the one you have if you must (you like it) and try to drive it better because i get 25 US mpg starting from a cold engine within 2.1 km or driving in current -2 celcius weather...about 33mpg in 10km....so by not having to pay for another car, no extra insurance or repair bill, you're better off with your car even if you get 25 mpg

Oh and you don't have to worry about your car being "written off" for some small damage because you can decide to keep it and fix yourself if you want...it's your car, you can do anything you want with it but honestly unless it's worth like $30 000 it's not worth paying 6k per year for insurance because even if it gets stolen after 2 years, you can save 10k by not having the crazy insurance you curently have and use the money to import another same car.

Wouldn't a larger area involve a heavier car, requiring more power?
