The car is currently at 93,500...and yes the transmission has been done. I have an Ultra-Gauge on board, I can readily tell my fuel consumption.

And no you can't "extrude hone" a stock header...unless it is entirely cast iron, even then you honestly would erode out the iron as it will be prone to cracking. The extrude hone process is used on intake manifolds and heads. I'm not sure what prices you're looking at, but a after-market header is far cheaper than shipping a header to have custom "honing".
