Extreme Hypermiling: 10k lb Truck Edition
Well Guys this is it.
The ultimate challenge of my hypermiling skills. I have a 10 000 lb, 16' cube van, loaded with equipment. I have an 800 km trip. And, I have a fuel economy rating of 22L/100km on the highway, and 40L/100 km in the city.
Initial testing has given me a result of 18L/100km in combined city /highway driving.
Will post results after todays 8 hour drive. There will be tears, though, mostly from whoever gets stuck behind me...
Wish me luck!!
