The car in the video is probably just to look at, but that fabric probably lacks stiffness such that it would flap in the wind. The idea is great, but I'd be curious as to what particular fabric would be stretchy enough, but not so stretchy as to flap, yet be color fast, and weather and soil proof.

Anyhow, somebody was looking to fair his pickup truck bed, and I'd suggested a turtleback of Dacron fabric on light frame, per ultralight aircraft technique. The BMW technique would be even better, if it meets criterion noted above.
