Feedback on a new youtube series about being cheap

I started filming me and a buddy working (mainly for fun) and I got bored and edited a clip into a 'show'. Everyone of my friends that saw it asked us to make more. So now I'd like some opinions from someone who isn't so invested in my feelings.

We're kind of going for 60% hooligans and 40% informative methods on cheaping out. Right now. There needs to be more Red Green in the world. This can go from cars to stuff around the house like this one:

I liked the 2nd, and 3rd ones better than the 1st.

Maybe language abit too much in 1st., also just a hair TOO silly?

I don't know if that's the natural talk, but it comes across sounding like Larry, the cable guy! That can be funny, unless I'm humored by natural sounding local
twangs as it were?!!?

Come on other guys? Surely someone has a comment!!!

Liked the first one, as there was just a hint of a story line. It's always interesting to see someone troubleshoot and fix something.
LOVED the opening sequence with the garage door and the truck rolling over the camera- reminded me of the Star Wars opening scene when the star destroyer flies over...
You should start every episode with that, maybe superimpose a title and credits.

But yeah, way too much language. It would need a few "beeeps" before I can show it to my kids.

And I agree, the world needs more Red Green!

We've decided to go PG (since G is basically impossible, really) rating for these, and still doing about 60/40 information versus rambling.

There is a few more up now, but I feel like the one above is closer to what we're aiming for. Useful information with useless banter on top.
