That powder blue "pie wagon" looks neat!
I know its not really aero. But that blue wagon conversion just looks right. They should have made that one. When I first saw it, it made me think of the 3 door wagon that I tried to buy.

I like the new/old style on this one. But I never got the whole wood grain thing on cars. Yes I know woody wagons, but still its odd to me.

I've stood next to that car at a Bug Run. Under the hood is air tanks and valves for the bags. I seem to recall a bamboo interior.

bamboomwagens.com/

Earlier in this century (memory fail) I passed through Rickreall, OR and there was a 412 wagon in red-orange alongside the road for sale for $850. I was driving a Squareback at the time and it looked like a good upgrade, but the guy was gone to lunch so I proceeded home and called when I got there. It sold in that hour.

On the blue one everyone likes, the body sides are good, the mix of Beetle taillights and Type II engine lid are good, but the lift gate looks unfinished. I prefer the plan taper of the BGW fiberglass van conversion.

I will be able to post a VW related item once a transaction is perfected. It involves trading a set of wheels for a whole car.

I'm forgetting which pictures I've posted:

-lol How could you forget! Actually I have a system, I have a folder on my desktop and only those to be shared go in. Then they get deleted when removed. I only grab pic's from specific sources, so there's a smaller chance of duplication. Additionally some of the pic's I save in another folder for future project ideas.

I have a lead on a couple toys. But I'm still trying to get rid of a few toys before buying new ones....

Well the seller assures me it's a done deal, and I've known him for decades, so...

1979 Dasher diesel. Technically the Audi 80, rebadged for VW as the B1 Passat, re-rebadged for the US market as the Dasher. 0-60 in 19 seconds (vs 13 seconds for the gas version )

It has a longitudinal slant four with the radiator on the uphill side and an alternator/generator underneath. It works for me because I want to add a 20hp bolt-on to the crankshaft to supplement the stock 49hp.

I don't know which one I will be able to take to the Bug Run on June the 3rd.
