First 50mpg tank!!!

463.4 miles @ 9.265 gal = 50.02mpg

Didn't think I'd get there anytime soon with a car that had been beaten so bad. That was on snow tires too, can't wait to see next tank (swapped on summer VX rims and tires when I got home tonight). Temperatures here have warmed right up this last week or two, which has helped quite a bit.

Thanks for the great ideas, tech help, and good fuel logging page to motivate people to try harder.

Thanks russel, what kind of vehicle are you driving? I've got an mpguino and vacuum gauge installed, and been really adjusting my take-offs to keep the mpg's up. Keeping that vacuum gauge steady has improved things also. Have you tried any of the site tips so far?
