The "Fix my PC" thread

I've helped (or tried to help ) a few EM'ers with PC and computer issues, especially about images and how to get them uploaded (see my sig). Thought it might be useful to have a thread where folks can post problems and maybe fellow members could try and post up solutions which may be of use to others.

So I created it here.

Sometimes I say "special" when I mean "retarded". Will someone please help me to fix this PC issue I have?

You may find the problem is between the keyboard and the back of the chair. Remove that and your computer will be fixed.
