Did some screen captures with flow illustrator to see the impact of the following items:

- Front lip
-Rear lip
- Oem spoiler

Can you help me decide on which combo is the best for reduced CD. Really appreciate it.

Back to your original question... I honestly don't see much difference between these photos that seems like it would make much of a difference, which may just be my inexperience. Can someone explain whether and if any of the OP photos reveals a better outcome and what the difference in Cd might be?

Black and Green will be rebuilt over decades as parts die--until it becomes a different car. Goal is only 60-70 mpg at posted speeds. I'm not trying for highest possible mileage.

Calculators: standard deviation, Ohms Law, & drag HP losses.

It's been said before, but the Flow Illustrator is not an aero testing tool. To know which works and which does not you need real world data. That said it appears the OEM spoiler pushes the air closest to the optimal profile (template). Do a tuft test on the rear window with and without the spoiler (or lips or whatever you are considering). Whichever one keeps the tufts down farthest back on the window is the one you want to use.

As for the front, get a spoiler that will go down only as much as the lowest chassis component. If possible, make a belly pan.

combos

None of you combos would have as low a drag compared to a conversion to a K-form roofline.
If you're absolutely attached to the notchback form, then you need to look at Hucho's book section on passenger cars, specifically the Figs. 4.63,64,& 65(2nd edition pages 156-7)
If you're looking for really low drag potential the Civics roof will need to look like the Mercedes-Benz 'Boxfish,' concept car.
