I hope this is the right section..
Whenever I visit someones house or whenever I throw out my trash (if any) I always notice that majority of its contents are used food containers (plastic/styro/etc)
Well I hope that some folks can adopt some Southeast Asian traditional food wrapping/packing which they have been using for the past several centuries...
it's more biodegradable than any other manufactured product and readily available..just pick one from your yard..yeah it's plant leaves..

for soup, I use the microwaveable resealable plastic container that came in with the stew when I ordered take out from a restaurant a year ago...but for "dry" food...i prefer this
