Matt H -

I just got a lousy 41.31 MPG. I think Tango Chuck did take a bite out of me, .

I like the % above/below point system; it is more even than straight numbers + handicap. Next time, though, since this has already started. This is a "test run" of sorts anyway

Just under 1/2 tank right now. I'm hoping to drag it out till next week.

If I pass this round, I'll have to sneak in a few extra mods; can't use all your secret weapons up front

PTsmith24 beat theirs by a fraction of an MPG and I beat mine by a couple. You were actually pretty close to yours, taco!

Hi,

Well the two completed heats so far both are won by the lower MPG vehicles. I have a feeling that the percentage of the 90 average is going to be more fair.

So far, I've held my goal of not dropping below 40mpg during the winter -- but it has not snowed here yet...

It should be noted...

Using the proposed rule changes...the same two lower mpg vehicles would have still won their first round matchups...and without any adjusted percentages...and both trucks by the way

Using the proposed rule change (taking 90 day avg and percent under/over 90 day for their tank entry):

Big Dave would have defeated Neil by .002764 (without adjustment)
Taco would have defeated Trooper by .06729 (without adjustment)

We will see if this continues throughout the tourney but so far it would have had no effect on the results.

Oh, I aware of what's going on.

It's cold here on the frozen steppes.

I was gonna re-connect my EBPV so the truck would warm up faster but it costs me 2 MPG in the winter.

I checked the air and started pulse-and-gliding for all I'm worth.

Yes, I updated Christine and even Black Betty today

Not as good as I thought it would be due to the weather conditions and all this lake effect snow.
