Gear Vendors + old Diesel = 24 mpg

Got a Gear Vendors installed on my 89 Dodge, and so far the results are pretty good. Got 24 mpg yesterday at a constant 65 mph (including hills) and I'm pretty sure a few tires were 10-15 psi low. Also had to race a few imports who thought they could keep up with the old diesel

I plan on airing all the tires up to about 60psi and seeing what it'll do at 55-60mph on flat ground soon. Hard to get a good fuel economy test here in Los Angeles, all the aero mods and coasting in the world won't do a thing if you're stuck in 15 mph traffic for two hours.

What load range tires are you running on that dodge? I run 75 psi most of the time in my pickup, load range E. I used to have a daily driven 612 hp(crank) 63 Nova that got a solid 3 mpg!

The power to MPG thing is what gets me about diesels. Once a get a bottle heater for my nitrous bottle, I think I'll crack 500 hp at the wheels, and that's still w/o a lockup converter, so my efficiency isn't the best. But I can get over 20 mpg with the same vehicle! I have E load range tires also, but LA freeways can be pretty jarring cause they're so beat up from the big trucks, so I usually run the tires pretty low.
