The enginer kit fit under the rear floor once the spare tire, jack and insert was removed, so your trunk was still usable. The gen 2 prius kit was used for the gen 2 insight, so it did take a bit of trunk space.

Hi Evric, it is a trial one. It should be under the cover, just on the spare tyre. It won't take the space of baggage.
