Exclamation Geo engine/trans swap

Just wondering if my 1994 geo metro 1.0L 3 cyclinder automatic would be able to take a 1996 1.3L 4 cyclinder automatic Geo engine and trans?

Short answer, Yes.
But you will have to have the donor car nearby.
You will effectively take everything from the 96 and put it in the 94.
This will then make your 94 an OBD2 car.
There is also some issue with the transmission mount.
I am not sure what it is, but I know it can be remedied.
You are not the first to try this.
Check at ;
Teamswift,
GeoMetroForum,
3cylinders,
and Google.
I doubt any one here has done this swap.
