That is the one I bought. All you have to do is figure out how to mount it.
Thanks. I will check it out. I don't know much about them, but see that everyone has them.

I need to learn to drive this car better to maximize its potential. I need to check out some other threads to see how to drive...

I have read that. But, I need some more time to research, in depth, some of the specifics.

My current driving is pretty sane, but I don't employ any hypermiling techniques.

You don't have to hypermile, you could employ techniques as you can. If there is one thing to take away from eco driving... it is how the brake system's job is to convert momentum into heat and brake dust. Momentum is generated by the vehicle's engine which uses fuel. It would then stand to reason that using the brake effectively wastes fuel.

There are many efficiency tips you can use but your route will be different than other routes and your vehicle is different than other vehicles. Some testing and experimentation will be required.

Update: Total invested in the car is just over $2200 with the new stereo...I have put about 2,000 miles on it. I haven't used much oil (can't tell that I used any from the dipstick) even though compression on all 4 was low (100-140 psi, this tells me the head gasket or valves are going...). Lifetime economy is 34.2 mpg. For a total investment of $2,200, I am happy. I am sure the car would do better if I didn't sit in stop and go traffic 2x a day. The last 5 miles of my morning commute and first 5 miles of my afternoon commute is 0-55 mph going to and from base.

I am probably going to sell this car if I stay in Va Beach. My next set of orders are probably going to be over in Norfolk. I don't think I want to commute in rush hour on the interstates in a Metro with 206,000 miles. Maybe with a newer engine and transmission (with a little more power to accelerate and a transmission I don't have to baby), but that costs money and increases the amount I have in the car.

Okay, just found out last night that my timing might be off a tooth...I hooked up the timing light and was running very advanced at idle. It was off the tab, but I'd estimate between 25* and 30*.

I am going to pull it back a tooth tonight. I hope that this is the fix and the result will be a better running engine with more MPG's...

Okay, before I even got to the timing belt, I realized that the crank pulley was on wrong! No wonder the timing mark didn't line up. I checked the belt anyway and found it to be correct. I put it all back together and timed the ignition. It was at 0*. The hood sticker said 5* and other forum member say 8* is best. So, it is set at 8*. If it is too much timing, I can always pull it back.

I have driven it twice since the adjustment and it does run better. I should say, it accelerates a lot better (But I really drive for MPG, so there isn't a lot of excessive acclerating anyway). Hopefully this will get me above the 40 mpg mark...now that it is running correctly.
