Hi MetroMPG,

The 3M ball and loop stuff can be positioned before it attaches. But it requires allot of attachment force. This is what is used on the I-Pass boxes here in Illinois. Also, 3M puts it on the back of their anti-static testers for attaching to cabinets - lasts for years...
