Turns out That I did have an article on the 2002,as listed in the header above.
The article notes that the 2002 is a direct descendent of the Aero 2000 ( the EPCOT Center car Cd 0.23 ) and that improvements for the 2002 came from "an elongated tail,skinny tires and carefully shaped intakes."
There is a photo from GM's Aero Lab with a single smoke trace.This car looks like a 'clay'.I think the photo is in my photo archive or maybe in the FLOW-IMAGES thread.If not I'll try and post it this coming Saturday.
