Well, it's one of the things you have to expect when you work for a startup. The blog post is a bit over the top, but I've had the experience of showing up to work one morning to see a bunch of unfamilar faces, and greeted by "Hi, we're from (the venture capital). We're shutting the company down, so clean out your desks and pick up your checks..."
