[Mod list discussion] Car idle reduction

Hi All,
I have filled out the car idle reduction wiki with all the data that i have. The question now is should it be pushed up into the proven mod section or pushed down into the hoax section.

I am fairly confident it should go up but i figure rather than being the wiki dictator id see what the group thinks.

Link to the wiki is
Car idle reduction - EcoModder

This thread will also be the thread for this modification so if you have any comments about the mod or suggestions please post on this thread.

thanks

Looks good to me.
You might want to link to this thread at the bottom of the wiki page (if this going to be the talk page for the mod)

I have used this mod myself on my 2007 Silverado Classic, and have proven the results with a Scangauge displaying GPH of fuel used at idle. (P.S. - this mod also saves fuel in decel mode for those who pulse and glide)

Definitely send it up to the wiki.

It's definitely a proven mod.

I don't know about the USofA, but in Europe just about every car manufacturer is installing automated engine start/stop systems these days, wether they call it DRIVe, Blue Motion, Blue Efficiency or Efficient Dynamics ...

Hi All,
Looks like this one is going to the proven section, ill put it up in the next few days (even though the poll is still going).
wriley4409 good to see another person that had done this too and might have data on it. If you do have data you can still put your hands on it would be great if you could put it in the wiki or post it on this thread and one of us will put it in the wiki for you. I always like data from a few people so at least we can see the range of improvement achievable
