Greetings from San Diego
Hey guys,
I drive a 2002 Honda Civic EX 5-spd coupe.
I love getting great gas mileage... I used to have a 330ci which got decent MPG for a car with that much power (25-28mpg).
I now get 37 MPG in my civic CONSISTANTLY every tank everytime, plus I save 20 cents a gallon pumping 87 octane, instead of 91.
While I am not complaining about that, I would like to improve that as much as possible!
Great to be here.

Welcome! Love seeing more fellow Californians around.
Good numbers and I'm sure you'll do better the longer you hang out here and pick up tips. It has for me. If you don't already have a way to gauge instantaneous mpg, I highly recommend a Scanguage or some other device to do it.

Good call idea, feel free to click on my user name to see my EM garage.
Also I have started to report on the type of gas being used and where I got it from since I went to a thrifty gas station and my MPG plumpted, hence I figure its only fair to reward the good, and punish the not-so-good.

Welcome, do you live in the flat part of SD or the hilly part? I have the bad luck of living on a hill, which is 2 miles up and down, and in order to go anywhere its all hills....hence the crappy mileage. But yes, I am the white Prius doing 55-60 on the 15 or 163

Welcome to EM! My wife has a 2003 Civic Coupe with an automatic tranny. Very comfy Honda to drive. The design reminds me of the old " BMW E36" 3-Series coupe that my wife used to have.

I'm also a believer in "Tufoil"-been adding that in my vehicles for 20+ years (And yes, I'm experimented with Duralube, Slick50, Prolong and zmax, and what did I find? No improvement in MPG. I keep on coming back to Tufoil).
