I put some on my windows two weeks ago, but they haven't fogged up so I can't tell if it''s working.

I FogX'd the first and third quarters of my windshield last night. Car parked inside about 55 degrees, 35 outside this morning and very foggy.

Took about 3 minutes for the 2nd quarter of my windshield to fog up, 1st and 3rd stayed pretty clear. I'm going to put it on the rest of the windows over the weekend.

I bought some the other day. $5. Applied to drivers half of windshield, seemed to work right away. Came back later that day, was just as fogged over. Thumbs down.

Rain-X hydrophobic spray for outside windows gets thumps up, though. Very saddened the anti-fog sucks (though works decently when still freshly applied... doesn't last long!)

Why not? There are sunk costs involved. Maybe try outside Rain-X on the 2nd and 4th quarters?

To see how long the Fog X application last.

I've been using Rain X for years, great stuff, I figure the less I use the wipers the longer wipers and motors will last.

I use it inside the semi tractors I run. Be sure the glass is extra clean. Interior plastic outgasses. That film must be removed in advance.

I don't remember to have ever seen those anti-fogs in my country, back here we usually just rub a dry rag to defog the glasses. BTW would WD-40 have a similar effect to those anti-fogs?

Have you all thought of just keeping a chamois cloth in the car, and wiping the fog off?

Wiping them off while I drive, that's probably almost as dangerrous as trying to TXt and drive, in my case with my slide phone and my ability with it proballey 10x more dangerours.

Need to start a new thread but my wife new Rogue is pretty impressive. Hot rest today on average, 37 mpg, later hot reset on my Cobalt XFE 41.
