Hello from Buffalo, New York!

Hi, I've been lurking around here for a few weeks, figured I aughta join. I have a 1994 Ford Ranger 4-banger with a manual transmission. I've got a few fuel-mileage oriented mods into 'er but hoping to do some more before winter.

BackroadBomber -

Welcome to EM! That first tank is way above your 21 MPG combined (new) EPA ranking :

Welcome! I'm from Buffalo, too.

The best mod you can make is to add some instrumentation to help you adjust the nut behind the wheel. Since you've got a manual, there's a lot you can do to get better MPG.

When you decide to do some aeromods, post a few pictures.

Thanks, and I definately will post pics. Some instramentation would probably help, but I drive it like I stole it and really don't wish to change my driving habits because then driving won't be fun anymore.

The 25 drivers in this weekend's AMEC fuel economy rally would probably disagree with you that driving efficiently can't be fun!
