It's something I've dreamed of doing myself for a long time. I think your wise to keep the gearbox with a DC conversion since they don't have the rpm range. Seems like Nissan doesn't agree too much with that statement. Remember this prototype truck fitted with the same engine of the Nissan Leaf?
