Hello from Latvia

Hi, I'm owner of Nissan 200sx `92. It is not the best car if we look at if from its MPG. I can't say at the moment mines, because I don't know it.

Welcome to the forum. You could add your car to the garage, and start tracking your fuel consumption.

Welcome to EM! I looked up your 200SX and it looks to be a good platform for MPG :

Nissan 200SX - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Code:
Production 1988–1993
Body style(s) 2-door coupe

Layout FR layout (Front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout)

Engine(s)
1.8 L DOHC-I4 (CA18DE)
1.8 L DOHC Turbo-I4 (CA18DET)
2.0 L DOHC-I4 (SR20DE), 140 PS
2.0 L DOHC Turbo-I4 (SR20DET), 205 PS

Transmission(s)
5 speed manual transmission
4 speed automatic

Wheelbase 97.4 in (2,470 mm)
Length 176.0 in (4470 mm)
Width 66.5 in (1690 mm)
Height 50.8 in (1290 mm)
Curb weight 2,450-2,675 lb (1,110–1,210 kg)
Now you said you have the 1.8. Is that with or without the turbo?

In picture is Sil80, lights are from Nissan Silvia whats whas sold only on Japan. Mine is this one - deivs001 - LaBeta
Bought it nearly three months ago.
And it has CA18DET under the hood, that means I got a turbo (It was my little dream to own car with turbo). At the moment I'm not very pleased with it because money is desapering like snow in hot summer day.

Those lights of yours are going to be an aeroproblem
In Latvia, do you have to drive with lights on, even during the day? Maybe installing LED Daytime Running Lights would be a good start?

Ok, thanks for the correction. RaTs, where "T" stands for Turbo. I think others will give you tips on driving below the "turbo line". But I think that will also depend on how your specific turbo behaves.

Yes, we have!
But in citys we can use fog lights. The aeroproblem is smallest problem, at start I have to change my o2 sensor, because at the moment I can drive about 40 kilometers wit 10 liters of gasoline. It's NICE!
I bought it with hope I could drive 100km with ~13 liters.

BTW it's my first car I have bought and I student

Aahhh, my wife used to have a white 240SX that looked just like yours. Her father inherited it, loved it, but (regretfully) sold it one day. We all miss it very much.
