Hello from North Central Washington
I called myself Edgy, 'cause that's how I get when I'm near a 144 volt traction battery pack. Built an EV from an '86 S10 4X4 for a friend (he had the money and I needed to learn it). The thing is on its 3rd year. It looks like a junker s10 on the ouside, but it has a heart of pure plasma.
But now I got the urge again to build me another one - this one will be alll mine. I want to do a Metro/Swift/Firefly, and I want to build a DIY charger and the revolt controller whilst I seek out a doner car.
The Open ReVolt thingy got me onto this ecomodder site, especially the stuff about chargers.
Me? I am a metallurgist and work in the aerospace industry. Fambly of 4 kids and wife (of course). I like guns, knives, and MOSFETS ... what else is there in life?
Now, onto that crayon drawn battery circuit that JackBauer drew .... hmmmmm ... was that on page 25 or ???
