Hello From PA

Found the site about a year ago Didnt think I would be able to aply much but some recent events brought me back a few months ago.

My vehicle isn't the best for efficent transportation, But its what I need and what I have, Besides anything can be improved upon

I have a 1989 Ford F150 2wd 4.9 5 spd that recently received a vac gauge, ign kill switch, pushbutton start, and a rear axle ratio change From 4.10s (great for towing and hauling heavy loads, bad for MPG's) to 3.27's.
It was getting about 12 in town driving. Now by using EOC 0 idling never did use the air but I unplugged the compressor so the defogger doesn't activate it, a lil P&G and I locked down a solid 25 MPG!

Next mods will be Synthetic trans fluid, already have it in the rear axle. and a MPGuino.

Look forward to learning more.

Yes it is! 7 main bearings, a fuel system engineered to never overfeed the engine. and the Torque I love it! never have to exceed 2k rpm's, untill it hits the highway.

hauled a 1700lb load last week, momentum and enertia really kicked in then lol
