Eco 3 - '95 Aspire

Hello from Texas

I have visited a few times and now I feel the need to contribute because of my back ground...I have been a active metal fabricator for the past 12 yrs...I am very artistic and creative and hope that I may inspire some folks here with some of my own fabrication skills...I would also be very happy to answer any challenged design issues that any members might encounter...my latest challenge was to install a '92 Jag front suspension into a '70 Ford Ranchero...the job came out very nice and I was more then satisfied with the final results.

My current rides are a '61 restomod Ranchero that is almost finished and my daily driver is a '95 Ford Aspire that I just purchased...the Aspire's EPA is rated at 42 HWY...when I am done, I am hoping to achieve 60+...I will not spoil the fun just yet as I am still in the design stages(in my head) at this point.

I am really looking forward to discussing aerodynamics and other related topics that will help everyone to increase the MPG's

Welcome to EM. What kind mileage are you getting with the aspire right now? I'd also encourage you to make a garage entry for your vehicle to track fuel economy and modifications done.

New Mexico man from Texas

I now live in new mexico and am going to convert a 1998 neon into a full electric vehicle. I will be glad to share and might need some pro advise from you and others about changes in the body to accomodate the batteries. I hope you meet all your goals. Bill
