Hello,

You might also gain something by putting flush covers over the fog lights; smoothing over as much as possible. This helps to kick air cleanly out and around the front wheels, I think.

well day 2 on the highway, the right hole block started to come off. i blame the 90 deg weather today. i reached under and reattached the tape. seems secure again.

That looks like a lot of unprotected radiator to me. I would cover the bottom section with wire mesh of some kind. Otherwise, you might find yourself on the side of the road with a busted radiator.

oh trust me. i want to. i have been waiting 2 years for it to show up from the company that made it. also been looking around myself. i find really cheap stuff that wouldn't protect it anyway, or ones that aren't wide enough.

You should look into "modders mesh" from computer stores. It may be heavy enough if properly reinforced. Or even chickenwire. This place seems to have anything you may want in mesh. There has to be a U.S. equivalent somewhere online.

Found this on eBay

thanks for looking. i check eBay once in awhile. i hope to at least find it "diamond" pattern so it's somewhat close. only problem is that my opening is 10" high.

I found something very close to what i have on top but it was $100. the way it looks now is way better than when it was open. so i'll just wait and wait.

seeing the idea from on here, today i got some foam insulation tubing for my AC line running beside the engine. but going down behind the radiator it is all kinked so i would need like 10 more zip ties and somehow be able to reach it. for $1 if it helps keep it cooler at all then well worth it.

i noticed the rubber tube had a very thin insulation about 5" long where it crossed right in front of the engine just before the crimp connecting to more aluminum pipe down behind the radiator.

I found some foam tape to help seal my underbody tray along the front of the bumper. Now I'm wondering where else I can apply this stuff. maybe I can line my hood with it, except where the intake sucks in air. the intake opening itself uses some foam tape to help it collect more air.

you can see it below but i didnt get a pic of my insulation yet.

now i have a minor inconvenience i overlooked. since my coroplast is sealed to my mesh grille with gorilla tape, cleaning it is a PITA.

today I noticed a huge moth that decided to live inside it. all i could do was used a flathead to move it behind my logo. i was trying to crush it up and blow it out. later i thought i should have gotten some tweezers maybe to pull it out.

Nismo,
Nice looking Maxima...I like the fornt bumper. I have a 02 Q45 w/ Impul body kit and have similar issues.
1. the air intake ........did blocking the entire front top grill still work?
The Q also has a narrow factoryintake slit along the top of the radiator.
2. did you get your underbelly finished?
