Help with materials for air block?

I'm thinking maybe I'll try putting an air block of the top grille of my car. I am planning on using zip ties to hold it to the crossbar in the grille.

Only thing is that I don't want the coroplast rubbing against the paint. Does anyone have any ideas for some foam or rubber to put between them? I would want it to stick to the coroplast and not stick to or damage the paint.

I'd just mount the coroplast on the inside.

Too hard to get to the inside. I'd have to remove the whole bumper and I want it to be easily undoable

Your local Homey Depot or bLowes should have foam weatherstrip tape for a couple bucks a roll. It's just like a thick roll of tape with adhesive on one side.

You can get door trim from AutoZone and put it around 1/4" (5mm) Coroplast before installing it, and just cut it about 1mm short all the way around so it won't touch anything.

Then again, you could always just cut it about 1mm short all the way around, and it won't touch anything.

Got the airdam all made and installed. I'll take some photos on Friday when I take it back off to paint it
