help me pick out tires

Hello all,
The time has come to put new rubber on the civic. I will entertain suggestions for which tire I should get. Obviously I'm interested in rolling resistance but my pockets aren't too deep... justify your suggestion with stats on rolling res, quality of construction, etc

I am also considering going up a bit in tire size (same wheel size) to bring down those highway speed rpm's

current (stock) size is 185/65 R14

When I went to tirerack the "Show ONLY LRR Tires" option got me down to 7 choices. The Kumho ecowing is decent at $62 :

When I tried to go to 195/65 R14 I got two choices, neither of which were LRR. When I tried to go to 205/65 R14 I got no choices.

I recomend "High preformance all season" or "ultra high preformance all season" tires for cars and minivans.
They stick to the road very well, you can stop fast and they respond to driver inputs very well. I wont go with anything less now.
I will take a 1mpg hit on my truck to get better preformance every where else, (only use load range C floation sizes on truck and trailer). I can pick up 1mpg pretty easy else where. I cant improve wet traction, stopping distance, cornering any other way as well as I can with a real good tire.

Some times you have to get creative with tire sizing to get what you want.

I'm leaning toward teh Kumho Eco Solus HM KR22 in 195/70 R14 (a 5.5% increase in tire diameter). My first choice would have been the Kumho Ecowing KH30 but it has been recently discontinued and the Bridgestone B381 is outrageously priced.

That sounds good, your speedo will be off (speedometer!). And your odometer. I realised I went slightly bigger with my snow tires, which should help FE. I haven't figured out how far off they are.

my speedometer is already off, it will become more accurate with the slightly larger tires. idk if my odometer is off or not
