HHO gas anyone?

Anyone here tried using HHO gas? I first heard about it a couple of years ago. Here's a vid

This other site looks really cheap.

Has anyone tested the validity of HHO as a fuel? I don't know much about it and was curious of other's thoughts and experience.

Thanks

HHO can also refer home heating oil... aka #2 / diesel...

That's illegal in most jurisdictions...

HHO (in the video) is just hydrogen gas. It's probably one of the oldest and most oft repeated fuel efficiency myths out there.

It's not really a myth. You can get an engine to run on hydrogen, BMW sold a 745i a few years ago that was "hydrogen powered."

BUT

What nobody seems to take into account is the MASSIVE amount of energy required to turn water into hydrogen. Nothing is free, physics assures us of that.

Here's another discussion of the whole hydrogen thing.

In chemistry, we call that an inappropriate molecular formula. It's H2O

The problem is - making the fuel - as AndrewJ said.

Basic Thermo on efficiency...
1. 100% efficiency at absolute zero
2. You can not reach absolute zero
3. You can not win

Wouldn't HHO gas be water vapor? Maybe he meant HH gas (aka H2)...

I wouldn't put that stuff in my engine...haven't you heard?

Dihydrogen Monoxide
