Hi Everyone

Hi, I found this site from my fascination of a friend who has a geo metro. I wanted to see what kind of MPG it got and became intrigued by what people were doing to their cars. So, I've decided to try to make mine more fuel efficient. I own a '99 Toyota Corolla. I've been contemplating how to design and attach aerodynamic mods on it. All I have right now is tape covering most of the grill and the hub caps.

Welcome to the site, there are plenty of adjustments to the driving style / technique that really do lower your mpg figures. My all time favorite is to drive in the slow lane while drafting a 18-wheeler or a large motor home, that is one nice spot to travel distance in.
Mpg gains are abundant if you pay attention, watch the road / traffic ahead, plan your routes ,you will see your mpg numbers climb.

I have adjusted my driving style by putting the transmission in neutral and coasting. I would rather not get too close to a 18 wheeler though.
