Hi from a frugal Newbie

Hello the forum - I found you while researching electric motor cycles.

Certainly electric vehicles feature in my future

As a Scot I am naturally careful with money, and hence the earth's resources

Welcome! Have you seen Craig Vetter's work with streamlining motorcycles? That has the biggest payoff for them. Currently, most electric vehicles just make their smoke elsewhere, but they may be a key technology if we find it cheaper to make electricity than liquid fuel.

Welcome to the site Andrew.

Did you have any platforms that you're thinking about using for a electric motorcycle, or still looking?

Thanx for the welcomes.

Bicycle Bob - aware of Craig Vetter and streamlining in general, but everyday commuting kinda makes it difficult.

Daox - my Scottish upbringing makes it likely that the electric motor bike will spin out of either a rolling frame I come across, or whatever motor I can acquire or make (I make small brushlesses for electric (model) flight)

Land-o-sand? Er, arabia?
I realise that most of the vehicles etc are US, or at least transatlantic, so very littel but the principles apply over here in Europe where fuel is expensive.
