Lately I am putting together one of the simplest and most consistant and tuneable water methanol injection systems any one has ever seen.

I have a steady local source of 80 proof water methanol. I ran some numbers and figured out that for constant spary I want no more than 3gph and no more than 10% alcohol.
DIY Water Mist Injection system install, w/pics (MPG Boost Project) - Page 27 - Diesel Place : Chevrolet and GMC Diesel Truck Forums
Go back a few pages for my water injection system pics.

Water injection - EcoModder

Built an intake adaptor to try and use what I believe is the more efficient of the 5 factory intake manifolds made for the 6.2L/6.5T engine serries.
The problem is that intake manifold is set up for N/A use and I am trying to run a turbo ready intake for testing.
F-code/J-code adaptor - Diesel Place : Chevrolet and GMC Diesel Truck Forums

I removed dirty stained 2nd row seats, 75lb.

And I bought some .100'' aluminum dimond plate to do a 7 inch air dam just below the bumper.

And I have come to the conclusion I need to trade my brand new 31'' yokohama AT-S tires for some 31'' General LLR HT-S (highway tires).

I am down 7mpg from my all time high. This is where I think I am losing MPGs:
Winter -2 to -3 mpg
Going from sea level to 4400ft, -1 to -2 MPG (nothing can fix that)
Going from worn 31inch good year RT-S tires to new yoko 31inch AT-S tires -2mpg (confirmed by friend who did the same swap)
Switching from my ram air fed J-code intake manifold to the turbo ready F-code intake manifold. -2mpg (didn't know what was going to happen when I did this)

Interested to hear what you end up with when it's all sussed out and finished. Though I suspect this is one of those projects that'll never be "finished" per se.

On the list I have:
LED lights (in the process of installing and finding more)
A few aero mods (working on the 7 inch air dam today)
Water mist injection (has to be done before it warms up)
Upgrade to a more powerful electric coolant pump (has to be done before summer)
Install tachometer (before spring)
Convert to LiFePO4 batteries (done before I can turbo)
Install an air compressor system (done before I can turbo)
turbocharging
Regear the diff from 3.08 to 2.83-2.93 (after the turbo)
Build and install a custom 6 amp solar panel on the roof and find a LiFePO4 charge controller
Get a set of general grabber HT-S 31 inch LLR tires (sometime this year would be nice)
Electric clutch for the P/S-hydroboost brake system

Replaced all the bulbs I could with LEDs they had at Love's truck stop and autozone.
Ordered everything else I needed from superbrightleds.com.

Now anyone can very clearly see my brake lights during the day even when driving towards the sunset.
Blinkers still blink normally, will see what happens when I replace the A1157 bulbs up front with LEDs when they come in.
Added a "G4 halogen replacement LED array" next to the back up 1156LED replacement I installed, now I can see what is behind me when backing up at night.

May use a "G4 halogen replacement LED array" for licence plate lighting also.

I am trying to increase the feasability of running an alt delete or field winding intruptor.

LED's are on my list. As are a pair of these. One for the truck rear bumper, and one for the trailer rear bumper. Switched at the unit for those long days on the highway.

My trailer has LED tail lights and they are so much brighter than the trucks running lights and tail lights.
Now they are pretty close.
Just realized all the amber running lights on the trailer are not LED. Hope fully autozone will get in some more of those amber LED 194 replacements. I cleaned them out last time I was there.

I got the turbo ready J-code intake manifold on with intake heaters and installed my small solar panels this weekend.

With such a high static compression and a turbo, have you considered fiddling with the intake valve timing to bring down the dynamic compression?
