This is going to be a good tank, I'm at 140 miles so far and just starting to get to the "Full" mark.
Even if it took 6 gallons to fill it up now, which I doubt (more like 4 or 5 from the full mark) I'm up at least 3 mpg over this time last year.
The only difference this year than last is the rear bumper is pulled off, I have the lumina hub caps on and the 2nd row seats are gone.
Still having cross winds most days on the drive to work.
Biggest difference on the drive to work is now it runs 600'F EGTs to maintain 65mph when it use to take 1100'F to 1000'F EGTs.
The EGT probe is installed in the exhaust manifold before the turbo.
So putting the turbocharger on has been a huge success.

The pickup truck rear step bumper is on. (pic soon)
I'm going to bolt the peterbilt bumper together, the over lapping metal with the bolts I have will make it stronger than if I had it welded.
Finding some one that can weld 1/4 inch thick aluminum and who has the time to do it has proven to be a waste of time.

So far its looking like adding the turbocharger has given me a +2 to +2.5mpg improvement driving around town and to work.
Unloaded/empty highway milage is at the very least uneffected, only 1 test so far and rarely gets tested.
Trailer pulling highway milage is still untested. Pulling the trailer around town has been vastly improved. After 4,900 miles of non-turbo highway trailer pulling I have to beat the well established 21mpg figure.

I installed the 4th solar panel. They will put out 15.6 volts at about 0.8 amps.
Its not much.
Its more power for running stuff off battery power with out running the engine.
It will save some fuel since running the engine for battery power gets 0MPG.

Not very eco:
I took out the torn up 1984 vintage seats and replaced them with much newer, far more comfortable seats out of a mid 1990s chevy van.
Van seats and truck body seats are not interchangable. Had to make the truck seat brackets fit the van seats with my MIG welder.
$50 for both seats. I believe the seats are not OEM.
More eco:
Also installed a 10lb lighter half ton astro van master cylinder, replaced the factory cast iron master cylinder with cast iron tank unit with an aluminum body, plastic tank unit.
$20 for the used lighter master cylinder as opposed to spending $40 to $60 for a reman/new unit.
I guess both are recycling and reuseing.

Pulled about 10lb of unused exhaust hangers.
Made room for a compressed air tank.
