The Hoax Car Thread

I thought it might be fun and edjikashunnal to get all the purported high fuel economy hoax cars in one spot... and if a car so designated is proven to be real, so much the better!

To start the list (in no particular order) (pics to follow...):

1. Neil Young's LincVolt

2. Doug Palmear's HP2e

3. The Shell Economy Ralley Opel

4. Those turbine Hummers

If you ask the guys at my local Peugeot forum, a 307sw that claims to do 1660km on one tank is a hoax.

Ha ha, "Pure Energy Systems"... should be "Pure B.S. Systems". I've seen them before... that's where "out of the box" hails from, and some other doof... it'll come to me eventually...

This one is fast becoming a hoax - despite the running prototype hardware.
Excellent idea when launched, then managed into oblivion.

They would have sold like hot cakes in 2008-2009 !

Free business advice :

Launch the idea and build it, sell it.
Start working on different spin-offs when money starts flowing in.
