Has anyone else noticed this cars interesting aero tail?

I like the styling of this car, well some parts in particular. It has a unique tail, it has a square edge all the way around kind of like a some models of corvette.

I can't find cd figures but surely must be below .3
Anyway I think it is a neat looking little car so i wanted to share

Do you get the City in NZ? They don't sell it in North America.

I agree the rear of the car looks clean - looks like they went for clean flow separation with sharp-ish creases on the trailing edges.

Reminds me that the first production sedan I saw with a similar trailing edge treatment was also a Honda:

Mid 2000's Acura here, Accord in the Euro market, I believe.

I used to have that exact car

It actually had a great CD for the time, 0.31 or something. The brochure claimed 'zero lift'. 0-100 in 8.6 seconds. ~5l/100km. Crazy torque steer. Good times.

Yeh I noticed it on the accords too, they have a nice rear end, but i wonder how functional it is.

Yep we get it, It isn't very popular though. They seem to be a good buy here

Every inch,or millimeter further back, the flow remains attached before flow separation the better. Also, allowing curvature back there can invite bi-stable flow, which adds drag, and noise due to turbulence.
